It is chemically setting silicate type, acid proof cement mortar. Shaktisil K is resistant to all acids and salts, excepting those conatining flourine. Since this mortar is 100% inorganic composition, it is unaffected by strong oxidising acids.
SHAKTISIL K CEMENT MORTAR consists of potassium silicate binder and finally divided filler containing the setting agent, hardening by internal chemical reaction.

We are engaged in Manufacturing and supplying of Acid & Alkali Proof CNSL Cement that is a silica filled,cashew-nut oil base resin. These are similar to plastic but are non-porous and self hardening. When set and cooled, these become impermeable dense cement. Further, these are used in laying and pointing of acid proof bricks as well as tiles for the constructing acid resistant tank linings and flooring surfaces. These are also utilized as joining material for fixing together pipe line for transporting corrosive fluids like alkalies, acids, solvents and oils. Resistant to a gamut of acid, alkalies, water, hydrofluoric acid up to 40% concentrations, these exhibits excellent protection against hydrofluoric and nitric acid while treating stainless steel.

Shaktisil K & S - These are Potassium/Sodium Silicate based chemically setting cement mortars supplied in two components, Shaktsil Powder and Shaktisol K & S Soloutions. These Solution are Potassium or Sodium Silicate Solutions of special compositions and the powder is a formulation of siliceous fillers mixed with powder catalyst to provide desired properties Viz Chemical Resistance, Mechanical strengths and low porosity.
The performance of Shakti-sil K & S are very largely dependent on Maintenance of proper mixing ratio and application. The mixing has to done in a clean enameled basin. Accurately weighed Solution is taken in an enameled basins and weighed quantity po powder is slowly assed and thoruoghly mixed to it. The mixed mortar should have butter like consistency for good application. The mixing ratio can be slightly varied based on masons- preference. Variation of mixing ration over 5% can create setting/working time problems. Thinning of mortar using water or addition of filler to make the mortar stiffs will interfere with the properties of cement mortar.
An intimate mixture of a chemically inert solid filler, a setting agent usually contained in the filler and al iquid silicate binder. When the filler and the binder are mixed at ordinary temperatures, a trowelable mortar is formed, which subsequently hardens by the chemical reaction between the setting agent an the liquid silicate binder.

The Resin type chemical resistance mortars have fairly good resistance to non-oxidizing minerals acids and poor resistance to oxidizing minerals acds. They are fairly resistant to inorganic alkalies. As the resin type of mortars are resistant to water, the joits between acid proof bricks or tiles are impermeable when bonded with these mortars. These types of mortars are used for jointing acid -proof bricks or tiles in pickling tanks, storage tanks and as jointing material in floors.Resin type chemical reistant mortar is an intimate mixture of liquid resinous material and a powder composed of properly selected filler materials and usually contining the settling agent. These components are mixed at ordinary temperture to form a trowable mortar that subsequently hardens.
The liquid resin is a combiantion of the following Resins: -1. Phenolic Resin2. Furane Resin3. Epoxy Resin4. Polyster Resin
